I like the effort you've put into this app. Smile

The ethnic composition should account for the Hispanic population that would inevitably exist in Texas. It would be a substantial population group. Even if your white population includes white Hispanics there would be many non-white Hispanics as well.

Honestly, I don't think the Italian influence is realistic at all. Italy never really had the naval power or was sufficiently invested in colonizing the New World the way that Spain, France and Britain did and were. There being a small number of Italian settlers among the entire population is one thing, but I just don't see Italian influence shaping this country's history or society in any significant way.

I don't know why Texas as an independent country would all of a sudden be obliged to join WWII if Japan attacked the U.S. in Pearl Harbor. Entering total war is a serious commitment and countries need a good reason to enter one. It would be better I think if Texas declared war near the end in 1945 in order to join the UN.

The rest of the history looks fine and most of the statistics are as well. Smile

The white population includes both the white population and the Hispanic population. It is a problem however in that Wikipedia publishes the united data. But anyway I added the percentage of hispics (in the section of the Whites)

The Italian influence is light. During the 1600 Italy was one of the theatres of the European wars and southern Italy, under the Spanish domination, was poor and therefore I thought to add a migration route between Italy and Texas. It is stated that the Italian colonists had to respect Spanish law and most Italian settlers came from southern Italy which was under Spanish domination. So it's just a piece of history that I added to change the story a bit because in the end Italian is an unofficial secondary language.

For the chapter of the Second World War is still uncertain. The entry into war would have improved the economy of Texas after a period of recession but at the same time the state had no reason to enter the war. So with the attack on Pearl Harbor it would have been used as a motive to get the state to war in order to quickly increase the economic recovery. But consider it as an uncertain chapter. I'm still evaluating the situation
